The unemployed youths have been protesting for nearly three months. They alleged that despite announcing the implementation of a recruitment calendar, the Punjab government has not issued a single vacancy in the education department in the past four years.
The unemployed youths said that the Punjab government has not fulfilled its promise to waive the 55% mandatory marks condition for master cadre posts and to give age relaxation to unemployed youths who have crossed the age limit.
