ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬੇਸ਼ਕ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਉਥੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ, ਦੇ ਚਲਦਿਆਂ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਗਿਰਦਾਵਰੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹੁਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਚ, ਸਰਪੰਚ, ਪਟਵਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਉਥੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ।
