ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੰਡਲ ਨੇ ‘ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਯੋਜਨਾ’ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਰਾਹ ਪੱਧਰਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਤਹਿਤ ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਾਤੀ ਵਰਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰੇਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ 1500 ਰੁਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ 1000 ਰੁਪਏ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।
ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ 97 ਫੀਸਦ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਭ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਤੰਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਸ਼ਕਤ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੰਡਲ ਨੇ ਯੋਜਨਾਬੰਦੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਤਹਿਤ 70 ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਭਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਆਰਥਿਕ ਨੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬੋਰਡ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਕੜਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਲੇਵੇਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ।
ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੰਡਲ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਟੇਟ ਪਾਵਰ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਲਿਮਟਿਡ (ਪਾਵਰਕਾਮ) ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਟੇਟ ਟ੍ਰਾਂਸਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਲਿਮਟਿਡ (ਟ੍ਰਾਂਸਕੋ) ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ-ਕਮ-ਮੈਨੇਜਿੰਗ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰਾਂ (ਸੀ.ਐਮ.ਡੀ.) ਅਤੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਲਈ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀਆਂ ਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਜਰਬੇ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸ਼ਰਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਧ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੰਡਲ ਨੇ ਝਾਰਖੰਡ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪਾਕੁੜ ਵਿਖੇ ਪਛਵਾੜਾ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਕੋਲਾ ਖਾਣ (ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ.ਐਮ.) ਦੇ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਖ-ਰਖਾਅ ਲਈ ਪੀ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਐਲ. ਦੁਆਰਾ ਠੇਕੇ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸਟਾਫ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹਰੀ ਝੰਡੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
The Punjab Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has approved the 'Mukhyamantri Maavan Dhiaa Sathikar Yojana' and paved the way for its implementation. Under this scheme, women from scheduled castes will receive Rs 1500 per month and other women will receive Rs 1000 per month as honorarium.
This scheme will benefit more than 97% of the women in Punjab, making it one of the most women-friendly social security initiatives in the country. It will contribute significantly to the progress of women by making them independent and empowered.
The Cabinet has given its nod to fill 70 posts in the Planning Department through direct recruitment. The process of merging the Economic Policy and Planning Board and the Department of Economics and Statistics, Punjab, has already begun.
The Cabinet has also approved the modification of the eligibility criteria and experience required for the appointment of Chairman-cum-Managing Directors (CMDs) and Directors of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (POWERCOM) and Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL).
The Cabinet has given its approval for the appointment of human resources and supporting staff on a contract basis by PSPCL for the operation and maintenance of the Pachwara Central Coal Mine (PCCM) in Jharkhand's Pakur district.
