ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਆਇਲ, ਭਾਰਤ ਪੈਟਰੋਲੀਅਮ (ਬੀਪੀਸੀਐਲ), ਅਤੇ ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨ ਪੈਟਰੋਲੀਅਮ (ਐਚਪੀਸੀਐਲ) ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮਾਲਕੀ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਤੇਲ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਵੇਂ ਪੈਟਰੋਲ ਪੰਪਾਂ ਤੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦਾ ਤੇਲ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਗੀਆਂ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਜਨਤਾ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਖਰੀਦ ਸਕੇਗੀ।
ਰਸੋਈ ਗੈਸ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ, ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਰਸੋਈਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਤੇਲ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਚੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਤੇ ਖਾਣਾ ਪਕਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
After petrol, diesel, and LPG, the government has given significant relief to the public regarding the oil of the earth. According to a notification by the Petroleum Ministry, the oil of the earth will now be available at ration shops as well as at petrol pumps.
Government-owned oil companies like Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) will make the oil of the earth available at select petrol pumps, which the public can buy.
In the midst of a shortage of cooking gas, people will be able to use the oil of the earth in their kitchens and cook food on the stove.

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has said in an official notification that with these measures, the immediate distribution of the oil of the earth will be possible in 21 states and union territories for the purposes of cooking and lighting.
These include major states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Himachal Pradesh.
