ਹੁਸੈਨੀਵਾਲਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਦੀ ਜੁਬਾਨ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ 23 ਮਾਰਚ 1931 ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਸੈਨਾਨੀ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਏ ਆਜ਼ਮ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ,ਰਾਜਗੁਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਦੇਵ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਹੌਰ ਦੀ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਚੋਰੀ ਛਿਪੇ ਇਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਬਗੈਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਰਸਮਾ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸਸਕਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਅੱਧ ਜਲੀਆਂ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਲੁਜ ਦਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਹ ਕੀਤਾ ।
The name of Hussainiwala reached every citizen of the country when on March 23, 1931, the country's great freedom fighter Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev were hanged in Lahore Central Jail a day before the scheduled time and were brought to this place secretly and cremated without any rituals and the half-burned bodies were thrown into the Sutlej River.

ਹੁਸੈਨੀਵਾਲਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਪੀਰ ਬਾਬਾ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਹੁਸੈਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ । ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਹੁਸੈਨੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸੀ 1887 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਤਲੁਜ ਦਰਿਆ ਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਪੁਲ ਕੈਸਰ ਏ ਹਿੰਦ ਬਣਨ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਚ ਜਲਦ ਹੀ ਰੇਲ ਲਿੰਕ ਜੁੜਨ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਵਪਾਰ ਬਾਖੂਬੀ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਗੰਡਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੈੱਕਪੋਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਹੁਸੈਨੀਵਾਲਾ ਚੈੱਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਗੂਰ, ਅਨਾਰ, ਚਮੜਾ, ਡਰਾਈ ਫਰੂਟ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਖ਼ੂਬ ਅਦਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ,ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਸ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਪੱਖੋਂ ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲ ਸਨ ।
The village of Hussainiwala is named after the Muslim Peer Baba Ghulam Hussain. Before the partition of the country, Hussainiwala was the main center of trade in the country. With the construction of the historic Kesar-e-Hind bridge on the Sutlej River in 1887 and the subsequent linking of the rail link, trade flourished. From the Pakistan side, Ganda Singh Checkpost and from the Indian side, Hussainiwala Check Post, there was a lot of trade in pomegranates, pomegranates, leather, dry fruits, and other necessities, due to which the people of this area were economically prosperous.

ਹੁਸੈਨੀਵਾਲਾ ਸਮਾਰਕ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਘੇ ਲੇਖਕ ਸਵ. ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਨਯੱਅਰ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਵੱਲੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਖਤਿਆਰੀ ਕੋਟੇ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਪੁਰੀ ਗਰਾਂਟ 2 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਇਥੇ ਖਰਚ ਕਰਵਾਈ । ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਪਾਰਕ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ । ਸਮਾਧੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬੀ ਕੇ ਦੱਤ: ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜਗੁਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਦੇਵ ਦੇ ਨੇੜਲੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬੁਟਕੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਦੱਤ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਅਸੈਂਬਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਬ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਸੀ । 20 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਅੰਡੇਮਾਨ ਨਿਕੋਬਾਰ ਦੀ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿਚ ਕੱਟਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਸੈਨਾਨੀ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਲਈ ਘੋਰ ਤਸੀਹੇ ਸਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ ।
The importance of the Hussainiwala memorial was seen and the renowned writer Late Shri Kuldeep Nayar, a member of the Rajya Sabha, spent his entire grant of Rs 2 crore for a year for its beautification. With this, a very beautiful large park was also constructed. The samadhi of Shri BK Dutt: Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev's close associate Shri Batukeshwar Dutt, who threw a bomb in the Central Assembly along with Bhagat Singh, was sentenced to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment in the Andaman and Nicobar jail. The great freedom fighter endured severe torture and faced bad conditions for the country's independence.
